ABOUT THE ROLE OUP is a mission-led organization delivering excellence in education around the globe through publishing. This Publisher will focus primarily on title management of OUP-owned and society STM titles, with additional opportunities to collaborate with the wider team to develop and grow OUP's portfolio through acquisitions and new launches. This role is perfect for someone with a balance of great communication and analytical skills who can bring to OUP a strong understanding of the journals publishing landscape—?particularly around open access—as well as best practice editorial workflows and policies. This role can either be hybrid out of our New York City or Cary, NC offices or remotely in the United States.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/KEY RESULT AREAS • Manage a list of journals to ensure they meet targets including revenue, quality, and profitability. Collaborate with editors and journal owners to publish high quality content and support content growth as appropriate to increase market share of articles.
ABOUT YOU • Good experience in journals publishing or transferable professional experience. • Good understanding of open access, including business models, sales models, policy initiatives, and the opportunities, sensitivities, and challenges of open access models.

Position Location: This role can be hybrid, based out of Cary, NC (2 times a week in office) or New York City, NY. This role can also be remote in the United States GJC Level: I6 (for internal purposes only) Salary: $65,800-$94,000 dependent on skills and experience
