With a current focus on mental health, gun violence prevention, the opioid epidemic, skill-based hiring and other critical issues, the Ad Councils national campaigns encompass advertising and media content, ground game and community efforts, trusted messenger and influencer engagement, and employer programs, among other innovative strategies to move the needle on the most important issues of the day. Job summary The Ad Councils Financial Development Department is looking for a Director of Development who will play a key role in supporting the Development team in raising approximately $13M in general operating support and assisting in raising more than $7M for the Ad Councils Public Service Award Dinner annually. The department manages the organizations 150-member Board of Directors and organizes all board member meetings, engagement and events, as well as prospecting for new donors throughout the year. The Director of Development plays an integral role in the Ad Councils fundraising program by managing a portfolio of key corporate donors, cultivating relationships with donors and prospects, working collaboratively to develop campaign partnerships, tracking and reporting fundraising efforts, and coordinating and executing Board events. The compensation for this position is within the range of $100,000 $115,000 annually (based on experience level). The compensation package also includes an annual incentive, comprehensive benefit offerings, and generous paid time off. What youll do:
