In this role, you will be a member our rapidly growing program and project management team. The PM team's standard is to 'manage each project like we own it.' We are unique in that we supplement our program and project management services with in-house cost management and project scheduling, in a fully integrated package. We are currently looking for a Civil Engineer to join our team and work remotely with some travel responsibilities. In this client facing role, you will be working with an exciting team on several data center related projects. Come join our team!



Responsibilities

  • Civil lead from due diligence through all campus and site works.
  • Direct contractual interface for local Civil design partners and aligns scope.
  • Develops new scoping and contracting approaches to improve efficiency and removing any framework pass through (where possible).
  • Interface to local Civil and Geotech design and construction partners for xS2.0 new sites.
  • Aligns approach for earthwork balance.
  • Reviews and proposes VE solutions to optimize subcontractor and designer expertise.
  • Provides Civil and Geotechnical technical support for site selection, due diligence, master planning and permitting. Defines campus planning strategies and regulatory processes, including entitlement and permitting requirements with timelines.
  • Provides guidance associated to overall construction schedule impacts from early civil works across all disciplines. Expedites Civil design and execution to remove from critical path schedule.
  • Owns all utility interfaces up to building entry, coordinates all disciplines - ensures customer requirements are planned for and met.
  • Manages Design through foundation start. Provides Civil and Geotechnical technical review and oversight.
  • Provides Environmental review and oversight, determines Phase 2 requirements as required. Where remediation is required, provides ROM cost and schedule.
  • Leads regional consultant in review of new sites, minimizing spend while identifying risk elements early.
  • Identifies regional partners and approach to new site execution.
  • Leads program improvements by developing the civil and geotechnical design standards for xS2.0.
  • Supports development of new products for civil discipline.


Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field is highly preferred.
  • 7+ years' of experience experience in Civil Engineering.
  • Some travel required as needed with a mostly remote schedule and Central time zone schedule
  • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as business presentation skills.
  • Must be able to lead project teams in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
