   Secondary Music Teacher - Orchestra (Long Term Substitute)

Salary Range: Per the Teacher Salary Schedule

Start Date: Approximately April 19, 2021

Work Week: 1.0 FTE - 8 hours per day

Student Level: 9th & 10th Grade
Position Summary:
9-10 grade Orchestra position at White Bear Lake High School. A successful candidate will motivate and coach a broad spectrum of high school students to take risks and grow and have skills and knowledge around building an Orchestra program at the high school level. Performs difficult professional work providing a broad range of teaching services or specific learning program, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student's ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Principal. Occasional oversight is exercised over Paraprofessional or Volunteer.

Qualifications :
BA or BS

Special Requirements:
MN Teaching License K-12 Instrumental Music required.
