Denver Motor Vehicle (DMV) is authorized as an agent of the State Department of Revenue as outlined in the Colorado Revised Statutes to register and title vehicles and to collect, record, and deposit all taxes and fees prescribed for vehicles owned or operated by residents and business owners within the City and County of Denver.

Denver Motor Vehicle is seeking an eager and dedicated individual to serve as a Motor Vehicle Assistant who will actively assist the team in a variety of duties. You will gain the knowledge of where to access information by performing general office clerical support work and preforming other duties as assigned or requested.

Generally, the Motor Vehicle Assistant:
  • Assembles, adds, retrieves, labels and removes information from files and records
  • Utilizes a computer to input and access routine information
  • Greets visitors, takes messages, provides routine information, and refers problems to the appropriate person(s) for resolution
  • Receives, sorts, and delivers mail and inventory items
  • Compiles data and copies information or data from one form to another
  • Distributes and/or delivers forms and other materials, operates a variety of office equipment, scans and makes copies of documents
  • Completes basic Motor Vehicle transactions as needed
  • Organizes, tracks, moves, and create case files for all mail
