IN-HOME SUPPORTIVE SERVICES PUBLIC AUTHORITY
The In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority is a program which recruits, processes and supports service providers for the In-Home Supportive Services Program (IHSS); a Medi-Cal funded program which enables eligible individuals (who are 65 and older, blind, or disabled) to hire providers of domestic and personal care services to help the individuals remain living in their own homes and communities.
You will have the opportunity to implement policies and procedures related to the Public Authority IHSS provider registry, including registry database management; implement policies and procedures related to IHSS provider and consumer training and support services; and assist with receptionist and clerical tasks.

Where college degrees and/or college course credits are required, degrees and college units must be obtained from an accredited college or university. Courses from non-accredited institutions will not be evaluated for this requirement.
Equivalent to the possession of an Associate of Arts degree with major course work in social work, vocational rehabilitation, human resources management, health, physical or occupational therapy or a closely related field;
One (1) year of experience in an administrative or staff capacity performing social work, vocational rehabilitation, human resources management, in-home provider registry, physical or occupational therapy, or health related functions.
NOTE: The above qualifications are typically accepted ways of obtaining the required knowledge and skills.
Other Requirements: Possess and maintain a valid California Driver's License or be able to arrange for personal transportation from one location to another during and as part of carrying out duties and responsibilities of this position.
