The County of San Bernardino/Arrowhead Regional Medical Center has an immediate need for multiple, temporary Extra-Help Licensed Paramedics to assist Emergency Department (ED) staff in performing basic medical exams, treatments, and procedures. Primary duties include starting IVs and performing more complex tasks such as phlebotomy and intubation when needed. These positions may also assist Registered Nurses in trauma resuscitation; responding to code blue and code white situations and recording patient's height and weight, pain scale, temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure in the triage and ED assigned areas.

These are Full-Time Extra-Help positions, which are unclassified and do not attain status as regular County employees. These positions are of limited duration and temporary in nature.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
