Community Addiction Recovery Enterprise (CARE) program in St. Peter has rewarding career opportunities for talented nurses to help people who struggle with chemical use and addiction reclaim their lives. Operated by the Minnesota Department of Human Services, CARE St. Peter specializes in providing treatment for co-occurring mental illness and chemical dependency. All services are person-centered, building on the individual's interests and capacity for growth, leading to a lifelong process of recovery. In the role of RN at CARE St. Peter, you will provide professional nursing care and assessments so that the client's health is restored, promoted and maintained. Job duties include:
  • Provide supervision and coordination of care on assigned shift, so that standards of care are maintained. Participate as an active member of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Develop a therapeutic relationship with clients and provide accurate, current client concerns, cares, and/or other pertinent information to the team.
  • Provide for client safety and maintain a safe, drug free therapeutic environment.
  • Administer medications and perform treatments.
  • Provide chemical dependency and psychiatric care to clients as identified in Treatment Plan.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be licensed or eligible to obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota.
