Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the selling effort and development of all FGFD Eastern Region Territory Sales Managers
  • Communicate and reinforce company vision, mission, values and strategy with impact.
  • Use data analysis to identify market trends and conditions, emerging markets, competitive activities, industry and technology trends, market size and share information to develop strategies unique and differentiated business models that support our overall FGFD strategy and align with customer buying behaviors.
  • Develop, communicate and implement appropriate sales strategies, processes and action plans to optimize profitable revenue.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership to assure that all NNA sales managers develop industry leading competencies and skills.
  • Effectively communicate voice of customer (VOC) feedback into our new product and solutions development process and to other stakeholders
  • Effectively provide input into budgets and maintain cost control.
  • Establish and maintain KPIs that measure progress in alignment with organizational goals and that are aggressive and challenging, setting expectations for excellence.
  • Report trends/conditions, competitive activity, and sales opportunities into a CRM program.
  • Provide necessary reporting and forecasting of the business.
  • Drive career development through delegation with assigned team. Plan and develop others for succession opportunities and manage performance.
  • Manage and train on E-business initiatives and Customer–Relationship-Management (CRM) tools.
  • Recruit and hire for excellence.
  • Manage assigned sales administration items (i.e., operations reports, action plans, operating expense management, etc.)



Qualifications

Special knowledge, skills and abilities required:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to coach and develop team members.
  • Strong track record of selling success and accomplishment.
  • Proven track record of understanding customer needs and developing solutions to assure customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated role model of company values and sales leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal).
  • Ability to measure, analyze and act on sales data and trends.
  • Proven problem solving, time management and follow-up skills.
  • Proven ability to grasp technical product knowledge.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% domestically.

Location:

  • The RSDM will be required to live in the Eastern Region.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Regional industry, end-user customers and FGFD representatives

Education and experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or educational academic equivalent.
  • 4 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • This position is available at three different career levels based upon experience, education, etc.:
    • Level one: 5 years sales or related business experience in related industry; Experience leading sales and / or project teams.
    • Level two: 8 years sales or related business experience in related industry; Experience leading sales and / or project teams.
    • Level three: 10 years sales or related business experience in related industry; Experience leading sales and / or project teams.
    • Master’s degree in related field may be substituted for up to 2 years relevant work experience.
