This is a part-time position up to 20 hours per week.

Candidates must have extensive experience and comprehensive knowledge of data governance and data management concepts, principles, and strategy to advise on and coordinate activities as part of a larger project management effort.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and implement a governance model that identifies, integrates, and collaborates with existing data governance bodies throughout federal client's infrastructure to ensure appropriate levels of oversight, guidance, and development of standards and policies as they are drafted and implemented.
  • Support the fulfillment of requirements of the Federal Data Strategy, including development of deliverables due to the Office of Management and Budget.
  • Facilitate working sessions and meetings with relevant federal governing bodies/steering committee.
  • Facilitate communications for federal data governance board and working group communities of practice.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of Data Protection, Data quality standards across the enterprise.
  • Design & Develop Data Governance RoadMap and provide reports regarding the progress from time to time.
  • Identify the new business opportunities with the use of data assets to achieve efficiency and represent the data as the business asset.
  • Defines the roles and responsibilities related to Data Governance and ensures accountability for the stewardship and master data assets of the enterprise.
  • Manage federal client's deliverables against the Federal Data Strategy requirements
  • Draft suggested policies related to data sharing and governance, as required
  • Gather information and content from key stakeholders and prepare necessary reports and presentations.
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of status reports, dashboards, and other project evaluation metrics for reporting, as needed.
  • Develop project-related documentation.
  • Creates relevant documentation for management and client approval.



Requirements:

Required Education, Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as health care administration, public administration, or business administration
  • 15+ years relevant healthcare management and/or equivalent experience with similar initiatives, preferably for large accounts or federal government clients.
  • Exceptional writing skills with an ability to translate complex, technical topics into compelling messaging, targeting a variety of audiences.
  • Superb project management skills with the ability to anticipate problems and quickly identify solutions.
  • Extensive experience working with cross-functional teams; superior service orientation.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work products.
  • Financial acumen to support the development of business cases and development.

Technical Skills:

PC proficient, specifically strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; especially Excel and PowerPoint.


Work Environment:

This position is fully remote.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a part-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday typically between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.


Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.
