Qualifications

RS&H is currently seeking a licensed architect to join our team. This position will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule of in-office and remote. As part of the Buildings team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm by performing analyses of design, planning, occupancy, and impact studies, cost analyses, design requirements, site selection, and limited design layouts; designing and conducting experiments and analyzing and interpreting the data; preparing project specifications and documents; preparing and presenting drawings, visual aids, and presentations to clients; and performing quality control reviews, field reviews, inspections, and observations of ongoing construction projects. This position may also provide technical guidance and assign tasks to junior and support staff in support of designated projects.

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Have a degree in architecture from an NAAB accredited program or equivalent experience.
  • Possess an active license in good standing and demonstrate knowledge of state and local building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, and other relevant ordinances.
  • Be proficient in production software and construction document production.
  • Have a passion for formulating and solving problems with timely and innovative solutions.
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders.
