The Department of Psychology, within the Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh, invites applications for a Part-Time Instructor to teach an online asynchronous course in Health Psychology through the University of Pittsburgh’s College of General Studies (CGS) in the summer 6wk2 session, June 24, 2024, to August 3, 2024. The minimum qualifications are a PhD in Psychology or a related field and experience teaching Health Psychology. Preference will be given to candidates who have previously engaged in remote, online, or distanced teaching; familiarity with learning management systems such as Canvas; and a proven ability to interact and communicate effectively with diverse undergraduate student audiences, including nontraditional and adult students.
