Overview

Responsible for the safe and timely disassembling or reassembling of production equipment, ensuring that all equipment is intact (i.e: “o” rings, gaskets, nuts & bolts) for production operation.



Responsibilities

  • Adequate housekeeping at all times during shift, creating an organized layout for all personnel.
  • Disassemble all equipment in a timely manner to prepare for sanitation.
  • Re-assemble all equipment with minimal supervision or assistance.
  • Detect any abnormal conditions (.ie: “o”rings, worn equipment, bearings or any bad moving parts and ability to perform preventive maintenance.
  • Make minor repairs on equipment on an as-needed basis.
  • Have all equipment re-assembled and ready for production start-up
  • Perform other duties as directed by the lead.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, utilizing basic math skills and auditing paperwork.
  • Must have basic mechanical knowledge.
  • Understand the basic knowledge of computers.
  • Ability to effectively adapt to change.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.


WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend, and move about the work environment, plants, or offices. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms, climb, or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Lifting requirements are up to 75 lbs. Exposure to loud industrial-type environments is commonly found in plants. Varied temperatures from hot and humid to very cold.
