SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:

ANSER is seeking an Office Administrator/ Project Control/Financial Analyst with the ability to assist complex, fast-paced programs.

Specific Tasks: This position will administer a variety of activities in the Colorado Springs office including but not limited to:

  • Build, maintain, and manage project baselines and forecasts (Estimates-to-Complete/Estimates-at-Completion)
  • Generate financial status reports and/or charts to meet contractual financial reporting requirements (e.g. monthly status report, monthly invoice supplemental' s, etc.)
  • Advise program manager (PM) of project financial status as compared to various baseline expectations
  • Monitor project performance to ensure accuracy of revenue and costs
  • Assist in the invoice approval process by reviewing project and subcontractor invoices and recommending corrective actions when necessary
  • Advise program managers how different operational decisions and forecast scenarios can affect contract revenue, profit, subcontractor funding, and backlog on projects
  • Understand contract requirements as discussed at internal kick-off meeting; validate resulting project setup.
  • Assist in developing standard templates, reports and processes
  • Perform ad hoc reports and analysis as required
  • Recommend process improvement, research and implement automation where possible to improve team effectiveness, speed and accuracy of reporting.
  • Acts as a liaison between operations and other administrative support organizations on financial issues.
  • apply detailed joint travel regulation knowledge to develop accurate travel estimates while ensuring the compliance of expenses generated by multiple teams operating in multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to reconcile cost/expense discrepancies, ensure travel budget adherence, respond to contract cost audits and help facilitate contract set up and execution

Contract deliverables: ensure monthly contract deliverables are of high quality, are highly accurate and submitted on time.

Office administration: coordinate with Finance, Payroll, IT and Human Resources personnel to ensure corporate requirements are achieved and to support internal office operations (e.g., computer/server functionality).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree plus a few years' of relevant professional experience.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field, and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Demonstrate familiarity with FAR, DFAR, CFR, and OMB Circulars
  • Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrate familiarity with pricing under both acquisition and assistance instruments
  • Robust multi-tasking skills, organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy under time pressure and on short deadlines
  • Ability and willingness to conduct research, handle routine tasks, as well as the problem-solving and resourcefulness for more complex and substantive work
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Candidate must provide documentation to substantiate fully vaccinated status against the COVID 19 virus.

Pay Range: $60,000 to $70,000; based on qualifications
