JOB SUMMARY:

The CURF Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing & implementing CURF marketing strategy, to include, but not limited to the marketing of university intellectual property for licensing & commercialization, & the marketing of university research expertise to increase the profile of the CU research enterprise.

JOB DUTIES:

30% - Essential - Work with CURF leadership to formulate overall marketing strategy for CURG. Design & implement CURF marketing plan based upon the strategic formulation, including the deployment of marketing campaigns & the education of CURF personnel to the marketing plan. Liaison to Division of Research's Communication Director and University Media Relations representative for research to ensure that CURF's marketing strategy aligns with the Division of Research's goals and objectives.

20% - Essential - Oversee CURF's social media presence & direct the work of the CURF Marketing/Social Media Intern, ensuring that CURF's website is current, has engaging and valuable content, and social media tools are maximized in marketing of university resources, intellectual property, and expertise. Monitor, gather, and analyze data from social media activities to help steer appropriate content.

25% - Essential - Manage & produce or coordinate production of the design & creation of marketing collateral (e.g. digital & print publications, videos, & newsletters) based upon the implemented marketing plan, targeting CURF's diverse audience. Organize workshops, conferences, educational sessions, & other special events in support of technology transfer or the university research enterprise.

25% - Essential - Assist CURF leadership in the identification of grant solicitations related to targeted CURF responsibilities (e.g. technology transfer), identification of resources (internal & external) available to address the problem, write and submit proposal response to RFP solicitation. Providing specific support to the CURF Technology Maturation Grant RFP solicitation, review and award process. Completes other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education - Bachelor's Degree - Related to development and dissemination of informational material
