Position Overview:

Analytic Services, Inc. (ANSER) is seeking a Chemical and Biological Program Acquisitions Analyst in support of the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Chemical and Biological Defense (ODASD(CBD)) in the oversight of the Chemical and Biological Defense Program (CBDP). Work is to be performed onsite at the Mark Center in Falls Church, VA. In this position, the CBDP Acquisitions Program Analyst provides subject matter expertise, advice, and recommendations to assist the ODASD(CBD) in assessing and supporting the whole-of the CBDP. The analyst will provide senior-level support to the ODASD(CBD) for the oversight of the CBDP's medical and physical acquisition programs and will ensure all programs have viable acquisition strategies, are on track, and are utilizing appropriate metrics.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possess an active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of relevant chemical and/or biological work experience.
  • Strong acquisition experience and an understanding of DoD acquisition decision-making processes.
  • Program management experience.
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Acquisitions, Program Management and/or Systems Planning, Research, Development and Engineering.
  • Experience working with, briefing, and engaging General Officer/Flag Officer/SES-level personnel.
  • Ability to lead disparate teams and build coalitions within a community of interest.
  • Ability to travel to meetings in the National Capitol Region and occasional CONUS travel.

Desired Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED):

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
