Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering and technical support for IO and SSEE FoS to include MM and Spectral Capability drops.

  • Perform Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RMA) in the identification of design defects and/or high failure rates of fielded components.

  • Track CASREPs, Distance Support actions, Technical Feedback Reports (TFBRs), and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) to identify trends and possible corrective actions.

  • Provide engineering and technical support for SSEE FoS systems to identify hardware (HW)/software (SW) obsolescence issues and providing proactive sustainment actions and back-fits for mitigation.

    • This will include any Engineering Change Record (ECR), Engineering Change Order (ECO), Ship Change Design (SCD) or Software Delivery (SWD) development that may be required.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • At least four (4+) years of professional experience in a SSEE Systems Engineering support role.

  • Candidate must have a TS/SCI clearance.

  • Level II IAT 8570.01 Cert such as Security+

  • Strong interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, and professional demeanor.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Effective team player with highly proficient customer service skills.

  • Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Visio).

  • Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.

ADA Notations:

  • Regular communication (hearing/speaking).

  • Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.

  • Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).

  • Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, and may occasionally lift and move at least 25 pounds.

  • Ability to travel by car, air or other means of transportation, if required.
